Role of Assistant Junior Coach
        These are the guidelines of the responsibilities of Assistant Junior Coaches for Farnham Park Baseball and Softball Club.
        Responsibilities:
        Assistant Junior Coaches are responsible to the Head Junior Coach of Farnham Park Baseball and Softball Club.
        Skills required:
        
            - A knowledge and understanding of softball
 
            - Confident with good leadership skills
 
            - Enthusiastic and a good motivator
 
            - The ability to communicate with groups and individuals
 
            - The ability to listen to and mentor people
 
        
        Main Duties:
        
            - To work with the Head Junior Coach
 
            - To assist with the junior coaching sessions as required
 
            - To develop and maintain high ethical standards in coaching, commit to develop their coaching knowledge and skills and assist in the preparation and running of each session
 
            - To undertake training appropriate to their role, e.g. Child Protection training
 
            - To ensure that all coaching/training sessions take place in a safe environment (undertake risk assessments
 
            - To offer feedback on players’ performances
 
            - To attend competitions with junior teams
 
            - To assist in the selection of teams
 
            - To attend junior club meetings and report to the main committee where appropriate
 
            - To inform the Junior Co-ordinator, in advance, of any sessions/games that can not be attended
